PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an electrostatic charge image developing toner of a magenta color having excellent transparency and electrostatic charge stability. SOLUTION: The electrostatic charge image developing toner using a binder resin and a polyvalent metal salt-treated azo-lake pigment of rosins as indispensable components, is characterized in that the azo-lake pigment of the rosins having a contact angle with water ranging from 85 to 110 deg. are used as the polyvalent metal salt-treated azo-lake pigment of the rosins.
