PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic vending machine having suitable recorder enhanced in printing quality and reduced in the influence to a purchaser intending to purchase a commodity, a recorder suitable for the automatic vending machine and an automatic vending method. SOLUTION: The automatic vending machine is provided with a printing part having a cup holding device 48 for holding a cup 30 and a recorder 52 for recording an image on the cup 30 held on the device 48. The device 48 horizontally holds the cup 30 and rotates the cup 30. The recorder 52 has two recording heads 64 so as to hold the cup 30 and many nozzles formed in the horizontal direction so as to jet two-color ink components are arranged on two stages. In the recorder 52, solid ink components are melted by ink cartridges 70Y, 70M, 70C, 70K and the melted ink components are jetted out from the nozzles of the recording heads 64 to the cup 30 to record an image on the cup 30. |
