PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a thermistor the glass layer of which has a good shape maintaining property, a smooth and attractive surface, and a superior solder heat resistance and solderability and the baked electrode layers of which have good shape maintaining properties, do not change the resistance value even when the layers are subjected to plating, and high flexibility. SOLUTION: Paired terminal electrodes 12 and 12 are respectively provided at both end sections of a laminated elemental thermistor body 11 including both end faces of the body 11 in the longitudinal direction. In addition, a plurality of resistance value adjusting internal electrodes 23 connected to one or the other of the terminal electrodes 12 and not connected to the other or one of the electrodes 12 are longitudinally buried in the body 11. The surface of the elemental thermistor body 11 excluding both end faces is coated with the glass layer 14.
