PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reproducing device, in which an excessive time required for reproducing a disk is shortened and convenience is improved for users, in a reproducing device with disk changer. SOLUTION: On the basis of an operation signal inputted from an operation part 22, disk reproducing processing is executed by a microcomputer 40 of a reproducing device 1. In disk reproducing processing, the presence/absence of a disk D in a stocker 31A added with a number of disk to be reproduced is discriminated by the microcomputer 40 and when there is the disk D, it is reproduced but when there is no disk, the presence/absence of the other disk D is detected. When the presence of the disk D is detected, the disk is reproduced. After the start of disk reproduction, the presence/absence of the other disk, in which presence/absence is not detected, is detected.
