PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a commutator which can make the electrical contact between a commutator segment and a terminal segment surer and more stable, and can be manufactured through easier processes and at a lower cost. SOLUTION: A plurality of terminal segments, having winding connection terminals, are arranged and fixed along an approximate outer circumference of an insulating support unit so as to be insulated from each other. A plurality of commutator segments, corresponding to the respective terminal segments, are arranged and fixed so as to be insulated from each other. For instance, a through-hole drilled in each terminal segment corresponds to a hole drilled in each commutator segments, and connection elements are engaged with the through-holes of the terminal segments and the holes of the commutator segments to constitute a commutator. It is recommended that the connection elements be made by molding conductive powder.
