The apparatus has head lamp and a speed sensor (12). A pitch angle sensor with control unit drives the actuator. The actuator tilts the head lamp light axis up and down in relation to a car body based on the pitch angle, if the difference of stable vehicles posture and reference posture exceeds the predetermined value so that the light axis has the fixed inclination in relation to a road surface.
