PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector device for a card with good workability of assembling at a low cost, to which, a card can be inserted with its upper surface facing upside when it is supported under a circuit board. SOLUTION: An opening 7 communicated with an insertion opening 6 into which, a card is inserted, is formed to the upper part of a housing 2 having a connector part 4 to which, a plurality of terminals 3 are arranged, and a pair of guiding part 5 guiding the card to the plurality of terminals 3. An elastic contact part 11 for removing static electricity, which removes static electricity by elastically contacting a ground contact point 23 of the card 21 inserted into the insertion opening 6 in a state that its lower surface 21b faces the upper part of the housing 2, is formed to an extended part of a metallic cover 8. The elastic contact part 11 is guided into the housing 2 through the opening part 7 and made to extend from the insertion opening 6 toward the connector part 4 when the cover 8 is mounted to the housing 2. |
