<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent increase in the volume and the weight of an electronic camera which uses a noncontact charging system and to reduce the influences of magnetic fields produced by a charger on the electronic circuit in the electronic camera. SOLUTION: The electronic camera 100 is provided with a housing chamber 38 for housing a rechargeable battery 19, and secondary coils 22 for receiving electricity are placed in between the housing chamber 38 and the enclosure of the electronic camera 100. When the rechargeable battery 19 is recharged, the secondary coils 22 are placed in strong magnetic fields produced by the charger. However, the rechargeable battery 19 functions as a magnetic shield, and the influences of the magnetic fields on the electronic circuit formed on a main board 40 placed opposite to the secondary coils 22 with the rechargeable battery 19 in-between are reduced.</p> |
