PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microwave radio communication system which raises work efficiency of maintenance workers, manages the number of monitor- controllable microwave radio communication apparatus and automatically allocates addresses. SOLUTION: When a wired cable is connected between microwave radio communication units 3-1 and 1-2, the communication unit 3-1 adds cable connection information to an answer to a polling transmission command from a microwave communication unit 1-1, and gives notice to a microwave radio communication unit 1-1 in the master station of the highest order. The microwave radio communication unit 1-1, in the highest order master station, knows that one radio communication unit to be paired has been added to its service area from the answer to the polling transmission command with the added cable connection information, and forms and saves a system configuration table with two new addresses added thereto, thus updating it according to the latest system configuration information sent upon answer to polling. |
