PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safe battery capable of preventing the shortening of the battery service life by surely releasing gas generated in a battery container 1a and by supplying the insufficiency of a nonaqueous electrolyte 2. SOLUTION: This battery is composed by sealing the inside of the battery container 1a and is so structured as to connect the inside of the battery container 1a to a gas storing sealed tank 7 through a gas exhaust valve 5 and a gas suction pump 6. In addition to it, the battery is so structured as to connect the inside of the battery container 1a to an electrolyte tank 9 for the nonaqueous electrolyte 2 through a supply valve 8. |
