Polymer granules are made by successive operations of mixing a base polymer and additives; shaping and grinding the cured polymer mixture to form granules; adding a shading colorant to the mixture of base polymer and additives; and carrying out an incomplete homogenization of the shading colorant in the mixture, where the duration of which is fixed according to desired coloring anisotropy characteristics of the granules.
