PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting data generator capable of generating mounting data automatically without requiring any manual input based on mounting position data, and component text data required for generating mounting data generated previously for various electronic components. SOLUTION: From component text data B required for mounting a component including the shape, dimensions, type of packing, color, and the like, generated previously and stored for various components including those being mounted from mounting position data A including the mounting angle concerning to the mounting position, component text data b of each component being mounted at each mounting position is read out. The mounting position data A and the component text data b read out for each component being mounted at each mounting position are then processed automatically to generate mounting data C which is used by a mounter 4 for mounting each component being fed thereto at a specified mounting position. |
