PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multiple optical axis photoelectric sensor that can restrain narrowing of the adjustment range in the optical axis direction by making small as much as possible the protrusion of the floodlighting part and the light-intercepting part from the installation place. SOLUTION: Since the projecting face 15a of each floodlight 12 is covered by the center wall 12b having a pair of opening parts 17, 17 of the protection cover 21, the projecting face 15a can be protected from the collision of the objects passing in the detecting region. On the other hand, there are no walls on the installation wall 20 side of each floodlight 12 and the whole back side of the floodlight 12 is exposed. Therefore, compared with the prior art in which the back side of the floodlight is covered by the protection cover, the protrusion d' from the installation wall 20 is not required to be large, and the rotating rangeθ2 of the floodlight, that is, the adjustment range of the floodlight in the optical axis direction can be made wide. |
