PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a function capable of avoiding the problem of the session time-out of Web, and realizing the download of a file whose dynamic generation is time consuming, in a Web system. SOLUTION: An instruction for download processing is given from an input screen 11 of such as a Web browser to a control application 21, and a file generating application 22 is called from the control application 21, and a file is generated by the file generating application 22. Also, this download system is provided with a state managing object for file preparation thread a confirmation screen 12 having a reload function for confirming whether or not the preparation of the file is completed and a result screen 13 for executing the download of the file so that the download processing of the file is automatically started when the file has been prepared.
