PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile terminal capable of adjusting a degree of power- saving according to the battery residual capacity. SOLUTION: The mobile terminal is characterized in that it includes a control section 3 for updating re-synchronization establishing period for synchronization by a reception section 2 which establishes synchronization with a wireless base station and discriminates whether the mobile terminal is resident within a wireless communication available range or outside the range on the basis of the establishing state of the synchronization, according to the residual capacity of a battery 5 being its own power supply source.
