PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a flexible display in which a voice can be reproduced without sacrifice of flexibility and the weight and thickness can be reduced. SOLUTION: The image display incorporates a flexible thin film speaker. The thin film speaker is produced by pasting electrode sheets to the opposite sides of a diaphragm made of a piezoelectric film. The thin film speaker may have an air gap between the substrate and the thin film speaker. It is applicable to various flat panel displays including a plasma display (PDP), an organic electroluminescence display (organic EL), a field emission display (FED), and the like.
