PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waterproofing property inspection device capable of quickly and surely inspecting the waterproofing property of a connector housing of a waterproof connecting without visually observing an installed state of a rubber ring by a worker. SOLUTION: This waterproofing property inspection device 1 has a base body 81, and a terminal housing chamber 82 inside the base body 81; detects the installed state of the rubber ring G in the connector hosing 8 for bringing the rubber ring G (a sealant) into close contact with the outer periphery of the terminal housing chamber 82; is provided with a movable abutting body 6 formed to be capable of abutting to the rubber ring G, and a discriminating means 7 for discriminating the installed state of the rubber ring G from a position of the abutting body 6 by detecting the position of the abutting body 6; and is characterized in that the discriminating means 7 is constituted so as to discriminate that the rubber ring G is installed in a proper position when the abutting body 6 moves to a prescribed position.
