PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for causing a controller to perform computations whereby a program can be easily changed without stopping computing processes corresponding to portions unrelated to the program change. SOLUTION: A computation name table (a) using the order of cell registration numbers and a table b showing the order of execution independently of the table (a) are provided in cell units and a sign (1) indicating the start of a program, the number of the next cell to be processed correspondingly to a cell number, and a sign (end) showing the end of the program are stored at the top of the table b. In accordance with the order of execution indicated by the table b, computations for processing the cells are sequentially performed.
