PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device for performing printing according to a print instruction from a computer, capable of adjusting the image position not to make a fine jaggy in an image conspicuous and printing out the image without lowering the image quality in adjusting the image position on a record medium due to a mechanical shifting of a paper tray and printing out. SOLUTION: This image forming device for performing printing according to a print instruction from a computer includes an image position adjusting means for rotating or moving in parallel the image position on a record medium to adjust the image position due to mechanical shifting of the paper tray in forming an image, and an automatic detecting means for automatically detecting fine lines vertical or parallel to the carrying direction of the record medium in an image data, whereby when the fine lines are detected by the automatic detecting means, the image position is adjusted only by parallel movement without rotation in adjusting the image position by the image position adjusting means. |
