摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce power consumption of a microcomputer under stand-by state in an apparatus having a remote control receiving section and being controlled by a microcomputer. SOLUTION: Under stand-by state, transistors Q1-Q3 are turned off and power supply to a microcomputer 1 is interrupted thus reducing power consumption. When a remote control light receiving section 2 receives an infrared signal, the transistor Q1 is turned on and a capacitor C1 is charged thus turning the transistor Q2 on. When the transistor Q2 is turned on, the transistor Q3 is also turned on and power is supplied to the microcomputer 1. Under starting state, the microcomputer 1 decodes a remote control signal inputted to an R/C signal input terminal and if it is a signal for sustaining the starting state of the microcomputer 1, output voltage at a POWER terminal is sustained thus sustaining the starting state. If it is not a signal for sustaining the starting state, the transistor Q3 is turned off and power supply to the microcomputer 1 is stopped before the microcomputer 1 returns back to stand-by state.</p>
