<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser beam branching device that can finely adjusts the power of branched laser beam. SOLUTION: A laser light source emits a laser beam. A variable intensity ratio optical device varies intensity ratio of the first polarization component and the second polarization component, orthogonal to each other, of the laser beam emitted from the laser light source. A beam splitter reflects a part of the laser beam whose intensity ratio of the first and second polarization components is varied by the variable intensity ratio optical device, and transmits the other part. The reflection coefficients of the first and second polarization components are different from each other.</p> |
