CONNECTOR FOR POWER SOURCE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To align clearance spaces 8 with electrodes 3 just before inserting the electrodes 3 of an apparatus side connector element 1 into the clearance spaces 8 of a power source side connector element 6 in a connector for a power source having the apparatus side connector element 1 and the power source side connector element 6. SOLUTION: A projecting part 41 of a guide mechanism 4 is arranged on the apparatus side connector element 1, and a recessed groove part 45 of the guide mechanism 4 is arranged on the power source side connector element 6, and is constituted so that a plurality of clearance spaces 8 and a plurality of electrodes 3 are individually opposed in the longitudinal direction (the inserting-extracting direction) in the initial state of fitting the projecting part 41 and the recessed groove part 45. A contact for contacting with the electrodes 3 inserted into the clearance spaces 8 is arranged in the clearance spaces 8 of the power source side connector element 6.
