PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for a digital camera that easily attaches a blur effect at an optional position so as to obtain a naturally photographed image. SOLUTION: When a zoom lens 301 of the digital camera is focused to a principal object 110 apart from the lens 301 apart by a distance W, the position within the field depth ranges from a distance L1 before the principal object 110 to a distance L2 after the principal object 110, and the distances L1, L2 are changed by adjusting the aperture of the zoom lens 301 and changing the aperture diameter D. Thus, the desirably focused position and the position at which the blur effect is desirably attached are designated, the automatic focusing is used for both the positions to measure the distances of the object from the zoom lens 301 as to both the positions, and the aperture diameter D is controlled on the basis of the result so as to bring the object at the position at which the blur effect is desirably added to the outside of the field depth thereby attaching the natural blur effect to the photographed image. |
