PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio base station for mobile communication, which can reduce the influence of a Doppler shift without using a plurality of frequencies even when a mobile terminal 6 is traveling not only in the same direction, but also in the reverse direction. SOLUTION: At the radio base station 1, an RX0 antenna 2 and an RX1 antenna 3 are arranged, and frequency converters 11 and 12 are connected to the RX10 antenna 2 and the RX1 antenna 3 respectively, and offset reception frequencies with signals from local transmitters 13 and 14 to output an RX0 receive signal and an RX1 receive signal. The local transmitters 13 and 14 are independently arranged for RX0 and RX1 used for the frequency conversion of RF signals received by the RX0 antenna 2 and RX1 antenna 3 into IF signals, and controlled independently each other.
