PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface acoustic wave device that has a balance -unbalance conversion function and can improve attenuation quantity outside a passing band. SOLUTION: A surface acoustic wave filter 209 provided with respective interdigital transducers 211, 212 and 213 and a surface acoustic wave filter 210 provided with respective interdigital transducers 216, 217 and 218 are provided on a piezoelectric substrate 208 so as to have a balance-unbalance conversion function. Wiring pattern 251 connecting an electrode 221 on a reference terminal side of the interdigital transducer 212 with an electrode 226 on a reference terminal side of the interdigital transducer 213 on the piezoelectric substrate 208 is provided. A wiring pattern 252 electrically connecting an electrode 223 on the reference terminal side of the interdigital transducer 213 with an electrode 228 on a reference terminal side of the interdigital transducer 218 on the piezoelectric substrate 208 is provided.
