PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily generate an accurate three-dimensional shape model. SOLUTION: The method for generating the three-dimensional shape model of an object on the basis of a plurality of photographed images of mutually different view points for the object is provided with a step (#3) of dividing a polygon mesh and generating a subdivided curved surface for the three- dimensional shape model composed of the polygon mesh and a step (#5) of deforming the polygon mesh so as to make the generated subdivided curved surface suited to the silhouette of the object obtained from the respective photographed images.
