POWER SOURCE SYSTEM AND ITS OPERATION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power source system capable of always operation a hybrid power generation system with high efficiency and to provide an operation method for the power source system. SOLUTION: The sum of power generation quantity of an SOFC and that of a power generator is controlled to a power generation quantity giving maximum power generation efficiency of the hybrid system constructed of them according to a command from an optimization operation system. In a direct current line, a vanadium redox-flow cell is connected. In receipt of the command from the optimization operation system, if electric power quantity required by a power system exceeds a basic electric power, the vanadium redox-flow cell carries out feeding control for discharging electric power equivalent to the shortage toward the direct current line. If the basic electric power exceeds the electric power quantity required by the power system, feeding control carried out so that surplus electric power is received from the direct current line to be accumulated.
