PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display an antenna image or the like for indicating accurate radio wave conditions, when power is turned on in a portable terminal equipping with a plurality of CPUs, such as a CPU for processing radio communication functions and a CPU for processing applications. SOLUTION: The portable terminal device 1 has a communication function, having a first CPU 3 for controlling a communication function comprising a plurality of tasks, including a communication function establishment mask, and a second CPU 4 for controlling an application operation function comprising a plurality of tasks, including a communication function establishment condition display task for displaying the communication function and the establishment condition of the communication function. In the portable terminal device 1, the first CPU processes communication function establishment tasks 321, 322, and 325 for capturing the communication function establishment conditions, when power is turned on and reports the communication function establishment condition to the second CPU, and the second CPU that has received the reporting of the communication function establishment condition processes the communication function establishment condition display task of communication.
