SOLUTION: In this storage battery provided with the lid for the storage battery having a resin lid body and a metallic connecting member, the metallic connecting member comprises a tubular part 2b and a collar part 2c formed on an outer part of the tubular part, at least one collar part is provided with a hole 2g, and the resin forming the lid body is entered in the hole.
