PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To save time and labor in designing a system and improve a product by understanding processor reset sources. SOLUTION: In this system having a processor and the plurality of processor reset sources, the method and logic for determining the processor reset sources are provided. The plurality of processor reset sources couple to a corresponding plurality of RS latches. One of the RS latches sets in response to a processor reset generated by one of processor resets. The one latch writes logic high to a dedicated resistor of a read resistor. After re-booting, the processor reads the read resistor to determine which resister is logic high, corresponding to the source which generated the reset.
