Spun textile product comprises copper and/or a copper compound as a fine powder dispersed homogeneously in a polymeric material comprising a vinyl chloride, vinylidene chloride, vinyl acetate and/or acrylonitrile (co)polymer, chlorinated polyvinyl chloride, cellulose or cellulose acetate. An Independent claim is also included for production of the textile product by micronizing the copper and/or copper compound to obtain particles smaller than 50 micro m, dispersing the particles homogeneously in a solution of the polymer, and dry or wet-spinning the mixture. |
