PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer capable of automatically avoid printing for unnecessary information without missing the valuable print information transmitted through a network. SOLUTION: This printer 20 is connected to a plurality of information sources 1a to 1n through the network. The apparatus is provided with a table 23 for at least storing identification information for an information source to refuse receiving and a control part 22 for referring the table according to the identification information of the print requesting side on receiving a print request, disregarding the print request from the information source registered to be refused, and printing the received data in a form of displaying the identification information of the print requesting side on printing paper when the identification information is not yet registered. The received data from the unregistered information source is judged on the value from the print result, and the processing division is registered in the table 23, whereby the later print request from the unnecessary information source can be automatically discarded. |
