PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the amount of time elapsed from the time recording for an image is directed by an information processor to the time the image is recorded by an image recording apparatus in transferring the record data on an image drawn up with an application on an image processor to the image recording apparatus and outputting the same. SOLUTION: In starting an application on a host computer 1010, converting a newly edited image to record data described in a page unit and transferring the same to a printer 1020, at the point of time the application is started, job data including an instruction (job attribute) for interrupting the processing immediately before the final output is previously transmitted to the printer 1020. Subsequently, only when the page is updated by image editing processing on the host computer 1010, record data of the updated page is generated and transmitted, and the printer 1020 converts the received record data to bit map record data. In the case of giving an instruction for image record of the concerned job from the host computer 1010, the printer 1020 records an image instructed by the bit map record data stored in the printer interior, whereby the time required for recording the image can be reduced. |
