PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk type information recording medium having excellent transparency, impact resistance, chemical resistance and weatherability and the excellent balance of these characteristics. SOLUTION: This disk type information recording medium consists of a thermoplastic resin composition containing alicyclic polyester. The alicyclic polyester is polycyclohexane dimethanol cyclohexane dicarboxylate (hereafter abbreviated as PCCD). The thermoplastic resin composition may contain polycarbonate together with the alicyclic polyester. Such disk type information recording medium is exemplified by an optical disk, magneto-optical disk or hard disk. |
