PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To compensate a weakness of silicone rubber deficient in chemical resistance and a low extraction property as a fuel cell packing and to surely arrange the packing in a predetermined position without its assembly work to ensure a perfect sealing property. SOLUTION: The packing for the fuel cell is constructed by layering a silicone rubber layer formed in the circumference part of a separator by vulcanization adhesion and a protection layer mounted on the surface of the silicone rubber layer. This molding method for the packing for the fuel cell comprises a process for applying a coating agent containing silicone rubber to the circumference part of the separator by a screen printing method for forming a silicone rubber layer, a process for vulcanizing the silicone rubber layer to stick it to the circumference part of the separator, and a process for coating the surface of the silicon rubber layer with a coating agent containing rubber or resin by the screen printing method for mounting the protection layer. |
