PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable terminal device capable of easily transmitting/ receiving data such as image during voice communication, using a radio communication system that allows parallel access. SOLUTION: The portable terminal device allows parallel access of voice communication by a circuit switching method and of data communication by a packet communication method. When operating a key operation part instructs data transmission to a callee during a voice communication (S16), the mail address of the callee is acquired by retrieving a telephone book data (S21), and an electronic mail, destined to the callee, to which a picture data, taken by a camera part, etc., is added is automatically generated, which is transmitted to the callee by packet communication, etc., (S23). A receiver side opens the data with priority and displays it on a display part if the electronic mail, which is received, is originated from the callee, with the image data, etc., added.
