The device for the injecting of mortar into a borehole has a retaining element (20) with a cylindrical section (22) seating and clamping on the injection pipe. A funnel-form section (24) which extends over the front end (18) of the injection pipe is connected to the cylindrical section. The cone angle of the funnel-form section comes to 16-40 degrees, and the length of this section is approximately one to two and a half times the diameter of the borehole (26). The largest outside diameter of the funnel-form section is somewhat smaller than the diameter of the borehole.
