The invention relates to a furniture fitting 1 having at least one expandable dowel 3 which can be inserted into a hole 4 in a furniture part 2. The dowel 3 can be expanded by an expanding part 5, which is attached to a tiltable eccentric lever by means of an axle 6. The dowel 3 is held on a plate-like part 13 of the furniture fitting, and the eccentric lever 7 is aligned at least approximately parallel to this part 13 when in the clamping position. In the clamping position, the eccentric lever 7 is accommodated in a recess in the plate-like part 13, which is formed by a slot 10. The dowel 3 is arranged at one end of the slot 10. At this end, a pot-like depression 8 is formed in the plate-like part 13, through the bottom 8' of which the expanding part 5 projects.
