<p>A newspaper offset rotary press such that the reference position of a machine plate attached to a single plate cylinder with no space for incorporating a registering device, which has a complex structure, can be changed and moved by a simple mechanism, the press itself can be compact, and the space where the press is installed can be small. The press comprises a machine plate (1) that is attached to a slit groove (7a) formed axially in a plate cylinder (7) having a one-page peripheral length and a four-page width and has cutouts (2) near the edges of the machine plate (1) and an adjusting rod (6) for adjusting registration that is disposed in the slit groove (7a) axially movably and has at its ends engagement projections (6a) for engagement with the cutouts (2) of the machine plate (1) in the reference position.</p> |
