The aircraft consists of a transport unit which is separate from the flight unit, i.e. the two units are quite independent of each other. It may not be possible to pass from one unit to the other in flight, since the units are separate and have no direct connection. The flight unit can remain in the service area after landing and be serviced, fuelled and checked in a special hangar.
