<p>The invention relates to a signal transfer cable and the surveillance system therefor. In order to monitor a cable (1), several surveillance devices (4) are distributed along the length of the cable (1). The aforementioned devices capture data (D) that are intrinsic or extrinsic to the cable for the wireless transmission thereof to a reader (5). Said devices can be powered by (i) the alternating current (IA) in an inductively-coupled conductive element which is included in the cable, or (ii) a non-modulated carrier transmitted by the reader possibly via a radiating cable.</p> |
