A content delivery server suppressing content use within a limited range and a content delivery system having the same. A content deliver server 2 includes a data storage block 24 for storing content data, a program storage block 25 for storing a program for managing/reproducing the content data, and a transmission processing block 26 for transmitting the management/reproduction program, the content data, and data on a reproduction startable date and time and a reproduction end date and time. The management/reproduction program is activated in the user terminal apparatus to perform content reproduction processing and read the time data of the user terminal apparatus and checks whether the time which has been read is between the reproduction startable date and time and the reproduction end date and time. If the time which has been read is not within the aforementioned period, the content data is erased and if the time which has been read is within the period, the processing to enable reproduction and the processing to rewrite the reproduction startable date and time with the time data which has been read are performed.
