<p>An earring is provided and includes a basket (3) including a circular member (7) having a center. Also included is a curved member (11) having a first end and a second end wherein the first end of the curved member (11) is connected to the circular member (7). A post (13) is included and has a first end and a second end. The first end of the post (13) is affixed to a wearer's ear lobe and the second end of the post (13) is connected to the second end of the curved member (11). The curved member (11) is dimensioned and shaped so that the post (13) is axially aligned with the center of the circular member (7). An ornament (19) having a loop member (21) is dimensioned and shaped to slideably receive the post (13) and the curved member (11). When the post (13) is inserted through the loop member (21), the ornament (19) is suspended from the curved member (11) adjacent the circular member (7).</p> |
