The adapter comprises a metal or plastic mounting (5) containing two parallel bores, one for receiving a metal pin (3) associated with the milling device mounting (1) and the other for receiving a mounting device for the milling spindle, micromotor or turbine (2). Each bore has a slotted opening to enable a screw (4) to be inserted in order to fix the pin and mounting into position.
