The device is assembled of two bone clamps (1, 2) adjustable with spindles (17) acting on the jaws (21) attached to the bone (3, 4) to be spread and the actual spreading element, designed in an L-shape and operated by a spindle (37) moving in a sleeve (36). A wing nut, serving as a rotation axle is guided through openings in the u-shaped upper end (32) of the spreading element and through an opening located at a bow (30) extending from the movable jaw element (21) and accommodated between the arms of the U (32).
