If a defect called a "dot omission" occurs in one of display portions constituting a liquid crystal display device 101, a repairing film 1 is adhered to the image display face of the liquid crystal display device 101, and a prism portion 2 having a section in which crests 2a and valley 2b of an isosceles triangle shape are alternated is formed on the surface of the repairing film 1, so that a part of light emitted obliquely from a normal display portion is refracted and combined by the prism portion 2 and emanates in a direction normal to the repairing film 1.
