The inventive method comprises the following steps: single tone excitation signals ui(t) having different excitation frequencies (wi) are successively generated by means of a signal generator (1); the generated single tone excitation signals ui(t) are applied to the analog circuit (7) to be tested; the output signals yi(t) emitted by the circuit (7) to be tested in response to the respectively applied single tone excitation signals ui(t) are intermediately stored in a memory (37); the intermediately stored output signals yi(t) are transformed according to a Fourier transformation by means of a calculation circuit (15); the calculated Fourier coefficients are intermediately stored in the memory (37); the complex Wiener transmission functions of a Wiener modelling filter are calculated from the intermediately stored Fourier coefficients by means of the calculation circuit (15); and the filter coefficients of the Wiener modelling filter (18) are regulated according to the calculated transmission functions Hi.
