<p>The device (1) is assembled of one or more storage towers (3, 5) with at least two storeys and a top unit (50) holding the lifting and moving mechanism and supporting the bicycle hanging facilities. A bicycle hanging element is clamped to one or two bicycles from the top, attached to a rail and moved either into a storage- or into a viewing position by using a rope and pulley mechanism (54, 55, 56), manually or electrically operated. In the case of two towers (3, 5), a viewing area (4) is located between the storage units (3, 5), facilitating the customer or the shop assistant to move and rotate the bicycle into any chosen position while still attached to the hanging element.</p> |
