Buying system for use by a number of buyers with computers for generation of local price details. Accordingly one or more of the computers are designed to receive a price setting tool from a seller that generates price details for the seller. The buyers can use the tool to locally generate buying prices in response to a request for a quote. The generated prices can then by used for a contract. The invention also relates to a corresponding method and software.
