The appliance has a heater (107), a cooler (104), a valve unit (108), an outlet (113), and one outlet (114) supplied with cold/hot air mixture. A channel element (2) is located in a housing (103) with intake (5) in the hot air section of the appliance, and defroster outlet (8), from which hot air flows without mixing with cold air, into the first outlet (113). The element is located in a channel (117), which feeds air to the second outlet (114), and it is sealed by a valve unit. The appliance is constructed as a multi-zone heater/air conditioner.
